Heir HQ Barber Spa is where health & wellness meet men’s hair care. Our mission is to make sure our clients leave looking and feeling their best while also more knowledgeable about their own hair and skin. By providing such services, along with offering the proper tools and products for maintenance, Heir HQ has created a healthy space for men to gain control over the appearance of their hair. Along with classic haircuts, we offer a variety of different services not typically found at your traditional barbershop. However, these additional services bring us closer to the roots of true barbering.

Joshua is a Virginia native who has been cutting hair for approximately 10 years now. He started in high school giving his brothers and a few friends shape ups and buzz cuts. It was not until college where he began learning how to fade and cut designs on his friends and hall-mates out of his dorm room.
Upon graduating from the University of Virginia in 2016 with a BA in psychology, Joshua put himself through additional schooling for barbering in order to add a trade to his repertoire of skills with dreams of opening his own barbershop. For three years, Joshua worked full-time in Human Resources in addition to cutting hair at a barbershop part-time until an opportunity presented itself through full-time employment at a gentlemen’s barbershop.
Knowing his passion for barbering, Joshua decided to take a leap of faith in pursuing his dreams. He was able to develop new barbering skills and techniques, while diversifying his clientele with a vast range of hair textures. Little did he know, another opportunity would arise in the midst of a pandemic to cultivate his own business, which he came to realize his past had been preparing him for.

Devin Bostelman is the co-owner/founder of Heir HQ Barber Spa. His barber journey started in high school when he moved to Northern Virginia from Maryland and had trouble finding a reliable barber. He learned to cut his own hair as well as friends and continued to do so throughout high school and college. Being a first generation college student and oldest of 8, Devin is proud to say he graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Communications in 2015.
Following college he continued to refine his barbering ability part time at a barbershop inside a basketball training facility in Loudoun County, Va all while working corporate sales for 3 years. Hendricks barbershop in Arlington, Va became his next stop after being suddenly laid off in 2019. Being his first full time position as a barber, Hendricks allowed him to take his skill set even further by adding much more diversity to his repertoire. Hendricks was awarded best barbershop in Arlington that first year where Devin and Josh connected.
By coupling corporate professionalism with over 10 years of barbering knowledge, experience and innovation he is able to provide a barbering experience like no other here in the heart of Arlington, Va.
